There is no better way to spend an evening than with your best girlies. Whether you hang out once a week, once a month, or only see each other once in a while – getting the group together brings memories and uncontrollable laughter rushing back. If spending an evening in with a bottle of wine (or two) and a movie is your jam, more power to you. But if you’re in the mood to spend a night on the town, here are some recommendations for you and the girls in the Denver area.

If you’re all getting ready together, doing makeup and picking each other’s outfits – a pre-game cocktail is a must. Wine and beer? Too simple. Dance the night away at one of CoClubs’ locations: Church Nightclub, Club Vinyl, Bar Standard, and Milk. Each place blasts many genres of music, so you’re sure to find the right groove.
You’ll find your favorite comedians and new talent onstage at Comedy Works. There’s a location in Larimer Square (closer to nightlife) and another in Greenwood Village.
Hosting an array of entertainment, Clocktower Cabaret is a beautiful, vintage space in the heart of downtown. Music, burlesque, comedy, drag, circus, dance…you’ll find it all.
Trivia nights, mini markets, food trucks, live music and more can all be found at Improper City. Sit back with a drink and enjoy – you can even bring your dogs.
In warmer months, check out Levitt Pavilion for something a little cheaper than Red Rocks. It hosts a free concert series where all you need to bring is a blanket or lawn chair.
Free and ticketed live music events are onstage at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. You can spend a whole evening here with dinner and drinks.
Where DIY meets bar. Craft a little project while enjoying a couple beverages. There is a long list of projects to choose from, so choose wisely!
