by John Moore | Sep 15, 2013

Playwright Karen Zacarías talks about her play, "Just Like Us," an upcoming Denver Center Theatre Company world premiere commission she adapted from the acclaimed book by Helen Thorpe. It's the Denver-based story of four high-school students divided by their immigration status. "This play is a local play. This play is a national play," says  Zacarías. It runs from Oct. 4 through Nov. 3 at the Stage Theatre. Directed by Kent Thompson. Call 303-893-4100 or go to Video by John Moore.
