A separate marker shows that the story of Singin’ in the Rain is set in 1927–1928, while the film was written in 1950–1951, filmed in 1951, and premiered in 1952. Decorative film, microphone, spotlight, and movie-themed icons appear throughout the blue-and-gold design.
