Art Deco–style infographic titled From Silent Films to Singin’ in the Rain showing a timeline of film history from 1895 to 1952. The graphic highlights the silent film era (1895–1931), the release of The Jazz Singer in 1927 as the first commercially successful feature film with synchronized dialogue, the transition period when silent films and talkies coexisted (1927–1931), and the effective end of the silent era in 1931. A separate marker shows that the story of Singin’ in the Rain is set in 1927–1928, while the film was written in 1950–1951, filmed in 1951, and premiered in 1952. Decorative film, microphone, spotlight, and movie-themed icons appear throughout the blue-and-gold design.
